Based on experience from Norwagin municipalities, KS has collaborated with the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA) to develop energy-and climate plans on the local level.

The Norwegian-Bulgarian project focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy for reduction of greenhouse gases in public sector in the Black Sea region municipalities.

The objective of the project was to build capacity on energy and climate planning in municipalities on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, and develop Energy and Climate Plans based on the experience from such work in Norwegian municipalities.
